Adjunct Faculty Positions
Applications for adjunct instructors for all disciplines will be accepted for increasing the part-time pool for courses taught on the Hopkinsville campus and at the Ft. Campbell, Princeton, Cadiz and Elkton extended campus sites.
Developmental Education adjuncts needed in reading, math and English: Have a bachelor's in math, English or elementary education, or a bachelor's degree with several credit hours in field and are interested in teaching developmental math, reading, or writing.
- Agriculture - Faculty teaching associate degree courses not designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
- Agriculture - Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Anatomy and Physiology - Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Art - Faculty teaching general education courses at the undergraduate level: doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Computer Technology (Microsoft Office) - Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Early Childhood Education/Education (depends on course) - Faculty teaching associate degree courses not designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
- Early Childhood Education/Education (depends on course) - Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- English - Faculty teaching general education courses at the undergraduate level: doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Mathematics - Faculty teaching developmental education courses at the undergraduate level: bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline with teaching experience.
- Medical Microbiology - Faculty teaching general education courses at the undergraduate level: doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Medical Office Systems Technology - Faculty teaching associate degree courses not designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
- Music - Faculty teaching general education courses at the undergraduate level: doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Nurse Aide (multiple positions) - Faculty teaching associate degree courses not designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline. Nurse Aide requires current licensure.
- Psychology - Faculty teaching general education courses at the undergraduate level: doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
- Reading - Faculty teaching college preparatory courses or adult education courses: a baccalaureate degree in the teaching discipline, or related discipline.
- Spanish - Faculty teaching general education courses at the undergraduate level: doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
